Sorry folks but we are temporarily out of STARCRAFT MODELS™ U.S.S. Titan model kits. I totally underestimated the popularity of this kit and have more on the way. So please hang tight and we'll get more in ASAP.

STARCRAFT MODELS

Also just in case many of you haven't heard, ROUND 2™ is re-releasing many favorite AMT STAR TREK™ model kits. They plan to release the AMT® 1/1400 scale U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D in August 2010, but this version will include all new "Aztec" decals to cover the entire ship and is mold in "clear" plastic. This will make modelers who like to light their kits extremely happy! This kit is suppose to be release sometime in August, but since it is already close to the end of August, I'm going to say that it maybe sometime in September before it is released. I got a chance to see this kit at the ROUND 2™ table during Wonderfest 2010 in Louisville Kentucky and I simply can't wait for this kit to come out!

The re-release of the AMT® 1/350 scale KLINGON Bird of Prey is another kit brought back to life by ROUND 2™. In this version they've added an all new "landing gear" as seen in STAR TREK™ III The Search for Spock™. I got a chance to see the all new landing gear at the ROUND 2™ table during Wonderfest 2010 and it was a thing of beauty. They also added the ability to display the ship's wings in one of three positions; flight mode, battle mode, or cruise mode. This is a feature that should have been designed into the original kit when it first came out. This has always been one of my favorite designs and I'm glad ROUND 2™ is doing it justice!

ROUND 2™ is also releasing the AMT® 1/537 scale U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 model kit, but in this version they've fixed the saucer height to make it a little thicker. Probably the biggest complaint about the old kit was the wrong thickness of the saucer section and many either had to deal with it or buy an aftermarket resin kit to correct this problem. In addition to correcting the saucer height, ROUND 2™ also improved the bridge dome and gave it a new dome shaped base. Unfortunately they didn't include the "Aztec" decals. Instead they will be offering "Aztec" decals for this kit separately, which we will carry once they are released. The release date for this kit is sometime in September, hopefully it won't get pushed back. I also saw this kit at Wonderfest 2010 and it brought back good memories!

Another ROUND 2™ release is the AMT® 1/1000 scale U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B model kit, but now with a completely redesigned saucer section where the bottom half connects to the redesigned "neck", which in the previous version were totally inaccurate. Other corrections include adding recessed rectangles on the front of each side of the deflector trench and removing the recessed windows on the secondary hull. The decal markings have been upgraded and corrected but again will not include the "Aztec" decals. They will be offering "Aztec" decals for this kit separately, which we will carry once they are released. The release date for this kit is sometime in December and I really hope they release it before then because it would make and excellent Christmas gift!

We will carry these kits when they arrive in the coming months and would like to personally thank everyone at ROUND 2™ for bringing new life to these classic kits.

STARCRAFT MODELS™ U.S.S. TITAN

The long awaited STARCRAFT MODELS™ U.S.S. Titan (LUNA Class) model kit has arrived. For those of you who never heard of this ship, you may remember the last scene with Picard and Riker at the end of STAR TREK™ NEMESIS™. Riker was saying his goodbyes to Picard and assuming command of the U.S.S. Titan with his newly wedded wife Deanna Troy. Although we never got to see the U.S.S. Titan, there have been books that continues the tales of Captain William T. Riker and his crew. The LUNA Class starship was designed by Sean Tourangeau for a series of books. The design of the U.S.S Titan became so popular that fans were practically begging for a model kit of this very stylish addition to Starfleet. STARCRAFT MODELS™ has released an extremely detailed model kit of the U.S.S. Titan which measures 12.5" long x 5.75" wide. I am amazed at the amount of detail in this kit and would go so far as to say that this is the most impressive model kit yet produced by STARCRAFT MODELS™. With all that being said, you have got to get this kit! Hurry now and order yours TODAY!

AMT661 DECAL ERROR - REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Due to a typo on the AMT®/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 scale U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-C (AMT661), they are offering a replacement decal. Send the postcard included in the Enterprise 1701-C (AMT661) STAR TREK™ model kit. Fill out the information completely and mark the bottom with “ENTERPRISE C”. The replacement decal will be sent out promptly.

AMT/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 Scale Cadet Series Enterprise Kits

For those who don't already now, Round 2 is re-releasing the AMT 1/2500 Scale STAR TREK™ Cadet Series Enterprise Kits in June 2010. These kits are basically the same AMT/ERTL STAR TREK™ U.S.S. Enterprise 3 - Piece kits that were release years ago but with a big difference; these come with full "Aztec" decals for a more realistic look. Also this time around they have packaged these kits individually with the except of one set.

The AMT®/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 Scale STAR TREK™ Cadet Series U.S.S. Enterprise Starship Set contains "TOS" U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A, and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B. Kit includes "Extensive Aztec" decals for all three ships.

The AMT®/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 Scale STAR TREK™ Cadet Series U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C is now sold separately and comes with "Extensive Aztec" decals and measures 8.5" long when fully assembled.

The AMT®/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 Scale STAR TREK™ Cadet Series U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D is now sold separately and comes with full "Extensive Aztec" decals and measures 10" long when fully assembled.

Finally there is the AMT®/ROUND 2™ 1/2500 Scale STAR TREK™ Cadet Series U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E which is also sold separately and comes with full "Extensive Aztec" decals and measures 10.5" long when fully assembled.

All four Cadet Series kits are considered "Snap Together" kits making them easy for kids with a SKILL LEVEL 2 (10 yrs - Up), but exceptional enough for the hard core modeler.

We are now accepting "pre-orders" for these kits which will be released in June. Those who pre-order now will receive a email confirmation of the transaction. Orders will be shipped out when we receive these kits from our distributor in which time you will receive another email once the kits have shipped out. So don't wait till the last minute, be among the first to get these kits as soon as they arrive!

Starfleet Models at Wonderfest 2010

We are still recovering from this year's Wonderfest 2010 in Louisville, Kentucky, which was a "BLAST" and the first time there as a dealer. It's definitely more work than I had imagined, but well worth it and more.

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our table. It's nice to put a face on many of our loyal customers who frequently shop with us, helping our company grow to what it is today; thank you very much and hope to see everyone there next year!
